RUA DAS FLORES
Centro de Curitiba.
Part of Curitiba's main street, it was the country's first "calçadão" (black and white decorated street exclusive for pedestrians). it is one of the marks of the city's cultural revolution.

PASSEIO PÚBLICO - O parque mais central da cidade foi inaugurado em 1886, com uma área de 69.285 metros quadrados. Seus portões principais são cópia fiel do Portão do Cemitério de Cães de Paris. Conta com 35 pontos de atração, que vão desde as ilhas dos Macacos, das Garças, dos Amores e da Ilusão até o aquário, o viveiro da cascata, a Gruta dos Amores, a ponte pênsil, o palco flutuante e as gaiolas com pássaros das mais variadas espécies. O horário de visitação é de terça-feira a domingo, das 8 horas às 18 horas.

Built in honor of the children of that distant country, who dedicated themselves to the agriculture.
There are 30 cherry trees all around the square sent by the Japanese Empire and also artificial
Japanese style lakes. In 1993 the Japanese Portal, the House of Culture and the Tea House were built.

Barigüi Park In native language even before Curitiba’s foundation, Barigüi meant
“River of the Thorny Fruit”.
Currently with 1.4 million of square meters, it is one of the city’s largest park and
undoubtedly the most popular.
The ancient “property-sesmaria” belonged to Mateus Martins Leme was transformed
into a park in 1972.
Not only the local residents and tourists enjoy the park, native animals such as Preás,
socós, white herons,
skunks, tico-ticos, sabiás among many others inhabit Barigüi Park. Many equipment
are available to the public:
barbecue facilities, kiosks, bicycle off-road tracks, airplane models runway, sport courts,
gymnastics equipment,
parking lots, restaurants, Car Museum, Exposition and Convention Center, Steam Train Station

MEMORIAL UCRANIANO.
Dentro do Parque Tingüi.
A repica of Saint Michael"s Church, in the Mountain of the Tiger, in Mallet, it has
roofing made of pine
and a bronze dome. Located in Parque Tingüi, it is dedicated to the centennial of
the arrival of the Polish Pioneers.

Guaira Theatre in Curitiba is one of the biggest theaters in Latin America. It used to be called Theatro São Theodoro.
It was inaugurated in 1884 at Dr. Muricy Street and it was renamed as Guaira Theatre in 1900. The theatre was demolished
in1930 and it was reconstructed in 1952. Guaira Theatre, Curitiba is ideally located in the heart of the city and is easily
accessible from different parts of the city. It is visited by many locals and due to its popularity it is visited by many tourists even.
Inaugurated in 1996, this woods have several facilities that reminds and promotes German’s traditions.
The woods has 38 thousand square meter of native vegetation that belonged to Schaffer’s family farm.
The replica of an ancient wooden church with neogotic details, built on 1933 in the region of bairro Seminário,
has a concert hall called Bach’s Oratory.
Other attractions are the João and Maria’s track that tells the Grimm’s brothers story, a Children’s Library,
The Philosopher’s Tower, a wooden structure that allows a panoramic view of the city, Serra do Mar mountains
and the Germanic Poetry Square, with a reproduction of Mila’s House front, a German building from

Symbol of the cultural change of Curitiba in the 70’s, it inaugurated the recycling process value buildings for the city’s collective memory. Built in 1906, the old gunpowder barn restored and recycled in the 70’s became an arena theater.
It was opened in December 27th 1971 and baptized by the poet Vinicius de Moraes with whisky and music specially written for the occasion, “The Gunpowder Barn”. Also participated in the ceremony Toquinho and Marília Medalha.
ENTRADA DO TEATRO ÓPERA DE ARAME Ópera de Arame, com estrutura tubular e teto transparente, é um dos símbolos emblemáticos de Curitiba. Inaugurada em
1992, acolhe todo tipo de espetáculo, do popular ao clássico, e tem capacidade para 1.648 espectadores.
Entre lagos, vegetação típica e cascatas, numa paisagem singular, faz parte do Parque das Pedreiras juntamente com o Espaço Cultural Paulo Leminski, cenário da encenação da Paixão de Cristo e de outros grandes eventos desde 1989, e pode abrigar, ao ar livre, 20.000 pessoas. O local foi palco, na noite mágica de 4 de abril de 1993, na festa dos 300 anos de Curitiba, do concerto do tenor catalão José Carreras, com a Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira.Wire Theater - Stone Quarries Park
The Wire Theater with its tubular structure and transparent roof it is one of Curitiba’s emblematic symbols.
Inaugurated in 1992, it gives place to all kinds of events, from pop to classic and has capacity for 1640 spectators.
Surrounded by lakes, native vegetation and cascades in a singular landscape, it belongs to the Stone Quarries
Park and so does the Cultural Space Paulo Leminski , where staging of the Passion of Christ and other important
events take place since 1989. It is able to accommodate 10.000 people seated and 50.000 people standing.
In the magic night of April 4, 1993 the place was a stage for the concert of the famous tenor José Carreras and
the Brazilian Symphonic Orchestra to celebrate Curitiba’s 300th Anniversary.

Historical Sector
The oldest buildings of the city are found in this place protected by a municipal decree
of 1971. Among these buildings we find the house Romário Martins, of century XVIII and
the Church of the Third Order of São Francisco dated of 1737, and also architectonics
examples of German inspiration from the second half of century XIX.
On Sunday mornings the old stones of Largo da Ordem and the wide sidewalk that
gives access to Garibaldi Square, Rosário Church, Flowers Clock, Fountain of Memories
and the Societat Giuseppe Garibaldi shape the scenery of the Handicraft Fair, an animated
meeting point with live music.

MEMORIAL OF POLISH IMMIGRATION
The Memorial of Polish Immigration that was inaugurated in 13th December 1980, after the visit
of the Pope João Pablo II to the city of Curitiba, in June, in the same year.
Its area is 46 thousand square meters was part of the dispossession of the old Candles plant.
The seven trunks wood houses are parts of this memorial area, as Polish Immigrants souvenir
and their faith and fight. Objects like the old wagon, the pipe of cabbage and the black virgin
of Czestochowa print, who is the protector saint of Polish people are parts of its quantity.
